Kudos to KMPH Fox 26 in Fresno Calif. which reminded viewers of the relevance of OTA TV last week when they gave away 300 DTV antennas in just a few hours:

Fox station gives away free DTV antennas

I noticed that the antennas that were given were UHF only. That would be a dirty trick to use in a UHF and VHF market. In the D/FW area of Texas the CBS TV station lost 57% of their audience when they tried to become a VHF station. They are now on UHF and VHF and will Turn their VHF signal off.
