Axon Selects Leader HD/SD Analyzer
Axon Digital Design has selected the Leader multistandard HD/SD waveform monitor for its product research library.

The monitor--with a 1024 x 768 pixel XGA TFT display screen--will be used in developing the Synapse range of modular broadcast equipment. The Leader European master distributor, elQuip BV, supplied the monitor to Axon.

Other features include compatibility with HD-SDI, frame and field rates. The monitor also handles PAL and NTSC SD-SDI. Video sampling is auto-sensed and switches between 74.25 and 74.25/1.001 MHz in HD mode or to 13.5 MHz SD.

Additionally, the monitor offers multiformat video and audio waveform display, vectorscope, eye-pattern and picture monitoring in a single compact unit, according to Paul Vos, elQuip managing director.
