Ross Video, Editware to Offer Fastrack with Synergy Switchers
Broadcast equipment manufacturer Ross Video will package the Editware Fastrack Edit Controller with its Ross Synergy switchers.

Designed to operate in most live production environments, the Synergy digital production switchers include both SD and multi-definition (MD) applications. The Fastrack SE--developed by Grass Valley, Calif.-based Editware--is a hybrid linear/NLE that interfaces and controls disk-based video servers. Fastrack also controls VTRs, mixers, production switchers and character generators.

"Ross makes a great production switcher, we make a great editor. The combination of the two is a powerful production tool," said Bob Lefcovich, vice president of sales, Editware.
