KTVU Adds Aphex Processors in Audio Overhaul
As part of a large overhaul of its audio facilities, Cox-owned KTVU, the Fox affiliate in Oakland, Calif. has added some 35 audio processors from Aphex Systems to its on-air configuration.

KTVU is now using 15 Aphex model 2020 MkIII broadcast processors to match levels of satellite-delivered content and an additional 20 model 230 master voice channel units for on-air talent voice processing requirements.

“We are ecstatic that KTVU has made such a commitment to high-quality broadcast audio with the installation of the 2020s and 230s,” said Marvin Caesar, Aphex president.
