Band Pro Hosts HD Open House
Band Pro Film and Digital Inc. will hold its annual open house dedicated to showcasing new HD technology on Dec. 14. The event entitled, "One World on HD '06," invites industry professionals to check out the latest developments in high definition and share ideas with artists, technicians and innovators in a casual atmosphere.

Equipment providers exhibiting their latest tools include 16x9 Inc., Arri, Astro, Autoscript, Anton Bauer, Canon, eCinema, ERG, Evertz, Fujinon, Iconix, IDX, Innovision Optics, JVC, K-Tek, Kino Flo, Leader, Litepanels, Marshall Monitors, Matthews, Miranda, Oconnor, Petrol, Sachtler, Sennheiser, Sony Electronics, Steman, Tiffen, Vinten, Carl Zeiss and more.

Iconix will feature its miniature HD camera and Sony will showcase its Next Gen Cine Alta. Optics giant Carl Zeiss will premiere the Zeiss Telephoto DigiZoom 17-112mm T1.9, plus new lens add-ons, the DigiMutar 1.4X Tele-Extender and DigiDiopters.

The event is at Band Pro's headquarters in Burbank, Calif. Doors will be open from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Food and beverages will be provided.
