Game Creek Video HD Trucks Include EVS XT[2] Server
Game Creek Video continues to stand among the leaders in providing state-of-the-art HD mobile trucks for the industry. The remote production facilities for the upcoming NFL season and NASCAR coverage for FOX Sports will feature the newest HD mobile unit from Game Creek, which includes a full production network of EVS XT[2] servers.

This new HD mobile truck will have one of the largest compliment of EVS HD XT[2] servers in the country. The truck will roll with 11 HD XT[2] servers, 2 XFile[2] and 3 IP Directors stations. The XT[2] servers will include full Multicam options as well as the HD Super Slow Motion capability. The switcher will also be interfaced into the XNet 1.5 Gbps EVS network via the 6CH HD SpotBox that will be available for the graphics and key show pieces.

The XFile[2] archive stations will continue to serve a key role in the FOX Sports workflow to allow the HD content being captured on site to return to the studio environment. The addition of the IP Director stations will enhance the power of the XT network with options for logging crucial metadata to the action being recorded. This information will allow production during the live event with IP Director browsing stations the ability to find key shots even quicker with keyword searches and other options available within the IP Director interface.

"EVS has always been a leader in the live remote production environment and it's become even more evident as the transition has taken us to High Definition," states Greg Macchia, general manager of operations for EVS USA, "But the XT[2] has evolved into such a powerful server when you incorporate other tools such as IP Director and XFile that we no longer are just a great replay system. EVS has collected significant references within the studio environment as the industry realizes that our reliability and understanding of the workflow requirements lends itself to much more."

Game Creek will also upgrade one of their existing mobile units to HD to supplement the high demand of the market. This upgrade will also include its fair share of EVS servers with 2 x 6CH HD XT[2], 2 4CH HD XT[2], 1 4CH HD Spotbox and an XFile[2].
