HPA Prepares for 10th Tech Retreat
The 2005 Hollywood Post Alliance (HPA) Technology Retreat will be held January 26-28, 2005, at the Rancho Las Palmas Marriott Resort in Rancho Mirage, Calif. The HPA Retreat includes seminars are broadcast technology, as well as roundtable discussions on topics such as color correction, HD lens testing, watermarking, HD standards conversion and fiber optics for HD cameras.

The seminars span the gamut of issues in broadcast engineering with counterpoint from representatives from consumer electronics manufacturers. Seminars include topics such as digital compression, digital content production, tapeless camcorder acquisition, film transfer to digital intermediates, HD lenses, editing and discussion of industry standards. Presenters come from a wide range of organizations, such as broadcast networks, manufacturers, engineering specialists and industry publications. For more information, visit HPA's Web site.
