Comcast's potential deal to acquire NBCU from GE and Vivendi would, in the words of the Wall Street Journal, "signal deep change in [the] TV industry."
How would this impact Comcast's relationship with the other networks? In light of must carry rules, should Comcast be required to commit to a non-discrimination clause to prevent it from favoring NBC properties over other networks? How will this impact NBC's investment in Hulu and Comcast's Internet video initiatives?
What does this deal say about the current state of the broadcast industry?
