Chapman Named Chyron Broadcast Group Business Director
Chyron has chosen Gary Chapman as its new director of Broadcast Group Business. In this position, he will be part of a team established for developing and fostering relationships with key personnel in North American television station groups.

“My goal is to closely match the company’s R&D spend for product development to the plans of the broadcast group owner,” Chapman said. “I am interested in working with broadcast group managers to explore new ways to reduce operational costs, define new revenue sources and improve the quality and effective use of their brand.”

Chyron Corp. said that this new position was established to create a senior communication channel between Chyron’s management and the key managers within a station group for dealing with both the challenges of today and also longer term strategic goals.

“I am delighted to welcome Gary in this key role created to further enhance Chyron’s communication between product managers and customers in the North American region,” said Chyron CEO Michael Wellesley-Wesley. “The Chyron name is synonymous with quality products and our aim is to continue satisfying the needs of the market.”

Chyron’s Gary Chapman is not related to Gary R. Chapman, former CEO of broadcaster LIN Television.
