Outdoor Channel Names Michael Dorsey to Production/Programming Post
The Outdoor Channel has appointed Michael Dorsey as its new producer/director of programming and production. There he will lead a team in the scheduling of new programming and original productions, as well as in developing value-added production elements for advertising deals.

"Mike is a valued addition to our programming and production staff," said Lloyd Bryan Adams, Outdoor Channel executive producer. "His experience in the industry as well as the diversity of his past work will add to the quality of our network's programming."

Dorsey is a veteran in the entertainment industry, having worked in film and commercial production, as well as in television show production. He has served as a producer, writer, director and assistant director.

Prior to his appointment, Dorsey has worked as a producer and writer for Havoc Television and also at Ripe Digital Entertainment, where he served as director of programming and director of marketing.

He is a graduate of the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
