Belo Orders Harris Sigma CD UHF DTV Transmitters
Belo has purchased four Harris Sigma CD UHF DTV transmitters for power increases at stations KVUE-TV in Austin, Texas, KENS-TV in San Antonio, Texas, KMSB-TV in Tucson, Ariz. and KREM-TV in Spokane, Wash. To date, Belo has purchased a total of 44 transmitters from Harris for its 19 full-power stations and one Belo-managed LPTV station.

Craig Harper, director of engineering at Belo, said that Belo made an exclusive commitment to Harris when it began its digital transition.
