Global Ontario Gets First Harris Centrio Broadcast Multiviewer
Harris Corp. is delivering its first new Centrio multiviewer to Global Ontario, the flagship station of Global Television Network, a division of CanWest MediaWorks Inc.

The Centrio, introduced at NAB2007, is a multi-image processor featuring enhanced graphics, broadcast-quality routing and integrated test and measurement tools.

Centrio combines an advanced graphics engine and routing infrastructure in a single, expandable chassis, enabling new capabilities with simplified system designs. It is designed for broadcast, multi-video, audio monitoring, master control rooms, broadcast trucks, events and staging applications — any situation necessitating dynamic access to a large number of inputs and multiple displays.

Centrio was awarded a STAR Award (Superior Technology Award Recipient) from TV Technology at NAB2007.
