HD Forrester Survey on Disc War Released
An annual survey from Forrester Research that has been highlighted in previous editions of HD Notebook (most recently Sept. 12, 2007) was officially released Sept. 24.

Among other findings, the survey of more than 5,000 adults with Internet access (about 700 of them also own HD sets) found when HD DVD or Blu-ray Disc player price points rise above about $230, most consumers quickly lose interest.

(The voluminous survey, authored by Forrester Principal Analyst J.P. Gownder, is also highlighted in the Sept. 5, 2007, edition of TV Technology.)
