Rohde & Schwarz announces support for A/153 ATSC mobile DTV standard

Rohde & Schwarz has announced it is supporting the newly approved mobile DTV standard with instruments that are compliant with the new A/153 ATSC mobile DTV standard.

The Rohde & Schwarz broadcast signal generator family achieves full compliance with the new standard when equipped with the enhancement of the R&S SFU-K226 mobile DTV streams option.

Standard-compliant transport streams for the signal generator family from Rohde & Schwarz, which includes the R&S SFU broadcast test system, R&S SFE broadcast tester and R&S SFE100 test transmitter, are now available for download as an update to the R&S SFU K226 ATSC mobile DTV streams library.

Simple ATSC-M/H mobile DTV stream scenario - can be used in combination with R&S®SFU-K226

Complex ATSC-M/H mobile DTV stream scenario - can be used in combination with R&S®SFU-K226

The R&S AEM100 ATSC-M/H emission multiplexer is also fully compliant with the new finalized standard.
