The demand for us to share information has skyrocketed.

As the environment changes, so does the landscape of needs.

Has your work day expanded? Do you have fewer resources than you did two years ago? A week ago?

As we become more dependent on diverse methods of obtaining and providing information, our structures must change, as well.

What I find interesting is that with all of the uncertainty and bad news throughout 2008, we actually did a lot with a lot less resources and money.

In areas where centralization or grouping of processes is possible, you may provide some immediate staffing benefits or relief, but there are other advantages as well.

During the entire project, it's critically important to keep primary focus on the people that will be impacted and ensure they are receiving factual communication to help them through the change.

The requirement to provide increased and inexpensive access is likely to escalate further.
