Tactical CAT5e Network Cable Assemblies in Single and Multichannel Versions
LAS VEGAS, NV ─ Wireworks, the leading innovator of audio/video cabling systems and custom panels, is on the prowl at NAB 2009 (Booth C4147) with its new super tough TacCat Network Cords and Multi-TacCat Assemblies. TacCat provides CAT5e Ethernet interconnection in a road-ready construction. Available in single channel cords and multichannel assemblies, these new networking cables are ideal for use in the field as well as the studio.
“Wireworks new TacCat network cable assemblies are made for the toughest environments, especially when cable dependability and reliability are essential,” says Gerald Krulewicz, president of Wireworks Corporation. “These assemblies are a clear choice for on-the-road Ethernet and digital audio applications.”
TacCat features full spec CAT5e in a heavy-duty outer jacket that is more than twice the thickness of computer room patch cables. TacCat Network Cords are available with Neutrik’s etherCON data connectors or traditional RJ45 Ethernet connectors, both with colored boots for fast cable recognition. TacCat cords come in a variety of standard lengths with custom lengths to order. Bandits®, Wireworks custom-printed shrink tubing labels, are available with your company name or logo.
Wireworks TacCat multichannel assemblies are designed with four individual CAT5e cables jacketed in a single road-ready outer jacket. The individual CAT5e cables are color coded for easy identification. The end of each CAT5e cable is terminated with etherCON connectors or standard RJ45s. Standard lengths range from 25 to 250 feet with custom lengths to order.
