V7 Launches 24-Inch Widescreen LCD Monitor with Premium Features at Value Price
V7‘s D24W33 Monitor Offers Multiple Viewing Options and Display Optimization for $459 MSRP; Available to Resellers Worldwide
SANTA ANA, Calif., Dec. 18, 2007 - V7, the exclusive house brand for Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) and maker of world-class IT and consumer electronics global solutions, today launched the D24W33, a 24-inch advanced widescreen LCD monitor with premium features at an affordable manufacturer‘s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $459.
Designed for consumers and businesses alike, the D24W33 monitor‘s widescreen, 16:10 aspect ratio optimizes the viewing of desktop publishing applications requiring dual-screen display as well as the viewing of advanced multimedia applications and Windows Vista™ features, and can serve as an expanded desktop display for notebook users.
The D24W33 boasts several features typically available only in higher-priced models, including an ultra-fast 2 millisecond response time that reduces pixellation of moving images; HDMI input for game playing, DVD viewing and video conferencing; built-in speakers; and the ability to swivel the unit 90 degrees and pivot into portrait mode. The monitor also features a high-resolution 1920x1200 display, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250-nit brightness and 160-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles.
“With the D24W33, V7 is offering an LCD monitor with features that were once the domain of high-end graphic artists at a price point that‘s easily accessible for consumers and businesses,” said Rainer Kozlik, vice president and general manager of Ingram Micro‘s Global V7 Private Label Group.
“We are able to deliver this superior value proposition to resellers worldwide by reengineering the traditional product supply chain to provide best-in-class quality and features at a much greater value than the current market,” Kozlik said.
The D24W33 features a removable base for wall mounting and a stand that can be adjusted four inches up or down. The stand also swivels sideways 90 degrees, pivots to the vertical position, and tilts from -15 up to a +40 degree angle.

While the standard orientation for most computer displays is horizontal or “landscape” orientation, many word-processing files, Web pages, graphics files and other applications are best viewed in a vertical or “portrait” mode for viewing the entire area of full-page layouts. Portrait display mode also provides a larger viewing area for applications such as viewing X-rays and legal documents.
V7 LCD monitors range from 15- to 24-inches in standard and widescreen formats, undergo full compliance testing and are built in the same factories as leading brands.
The D24W33 will be available in January 2008 to resellers worldwide. Retailers and VARs can contact their Ingram Micro sales team at 1-800-456-8000 for more information or to order V7‘s D24W33 LCD monitor.
