Combined software and hardware solutions improve ingest, management and distribution of content across increasingly global networks
BURLINGTON, MA –October 15, 2008 —Signiant Inc., and SmartJog, two of the most trusted companies providing digital media distribution technology to the media and entertainment industry, today announced the completion and availability of an integrated technology solution for the movement of digital media. Using the integrated platform, Signiant and SmartJog customers are now able to seamlessly move and manage their digital media files between the companies’ products.
Signiant has integrated its Digital Media Distribution Management suite (DMDMS) with SmartJog’s Webservice API in order to facilitate transfers to and from the SmartJog platform for both companies’ existing clients. Users are then able to initiate, track, secure and manage the movement of files over the SmartJog network. Clients are able to gain access to each company’s established global network and value-added solutions.
