CLEARWING PRODUCTIONS PROVIDES AUDIO SUPPORT FOR U.S. ARMY ALL-AMERICAN BOWL TELEVISED ON NBC

BUENA PARK, Calif.⎯The 2010 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, held on January 9 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, marks the 10th Anniversary of the annual classic East vs. West football match-up. Televised live on NBC, the game featured the top 90 high school football players in the United States. The U.S. Army All-American Bowl has been the nation’s premier high school football game, serving as the pre-eminent launching pad for America’s future college and NFL stars.

Clearwing Productions was tapped to provide the audio that included a Yamaha PM5D-RH digital audio console. “I chose the Yamaha PM5D-RH for the Bowl since we had three different front of house engineers, and all are comfortable on the 5D, states Joel Harris, Project Manager.”

A Yamaha LS9-32 along with Martin LE700 wedges and a V-Dosc PA were used for the U.S. Army Welcome Barbeque featuring Darryl Worley and the U.S. Army Band ‘Downrange.’ Clearwing also provided support for the pre-game Pageantry performances by the U.S. Army Fieldband Volunteers, as well as the halftime show performances by the All American Marching Band, utilizing two Yamaha PM5D-RH consoles, V-Dosc PA, and Martin LE700 wedges.
