Beginning the eve of Election Day, ABC will begin its pre-presidential election news using an array of Nucomm gear and will continue using the equipment for its Election Day broadcast as well as its post election coverage on Wednesday, November 5.
To capture all of the action during this highly anticipated event, 3G Wireless is employing four of Nucomm’s 7 GHz CamPac 2 wireless camera transmitters, one 2 GHZ CamPac 2 and five Newscaster DR diversity receivers to allow for seamless comprehensive ABC coverage. The broadcast will be televised live from New York City’s ABC World News and Good Morning America studios. There will also be a crew using the Nucomm products for man on the street interviews live from Time Square.
