RTS Intercom Systems shows the Zeus III Digital Intercom Matrix at InfoComm 2009, Booth #6100

Orlando, FL RTS Intercom Systems shows the all-new Zeus III Digital Intercom Matrix at InfoComm 2009. The Zeus III supersedes the popular Zeus and Zeus II matrix frames, taking their unique balance of connectivity and economy to the next level. The Zeus III is the next generation of compact intercom system units, giving more options for intercom configurations. We now have 32 channels IN/OUT and in addition, two configurable party-line interface channels. Its compact size is perfect for environments with limited space. With the addition of Ethernet, the Zeus III can be configured from virtually anywhere on the network using AZedit Intercom software. Alternatively, the Zeus III can be directly connected to AZedit configuration software through the use of the USB connector on the front panel, or the serial or Ethernet connectors on the rear panel. The system has 32 standard RJ45 connectors making it easier to connect your intercom system with audio lines and keypanels by keeping the RTS wiring scheme. In addition, the two built-in relays can be used to control lighting or to key remote transmitters, paging systems, etc.

“The Zeus III is a great solution for those looking for the flexibility of a networked matrix frame and the simplicity of a partyline system.” said Christian Latzelsberger, Product Manager for RTS Intercom Worldwide.

“One thing that really sets this frame apart is it’s built-in partyline interface. Partyline users who are beginning to outgrow their system will appreciate being able to connect the Zeus III and gain all kinds of expansion options, without abandoning their current investment. That is the RTS philosophy of backward compatibility and forward thinking.” Christian continued. “The partyline interface featured in the Zeus III is compatible with all major partyline systems, including RTS, Telex Audiocom, and Clear-Com. This makes the Zeus III an ideal upgrade solution, even for those who don’t currently have a RTS system.”
