National TeleConsultants Doubles the Size of its West Coast Office
GLENDALE CA, July 23, 2007--National TeleConsultants (NTC), the nation‘s largest provider of strategic technology consulting, facility design, engineering, and systems-integration services for the media industry, has expanded its West Coast offices with a move to a 22-story premier commercial tower at 550 North Brand Boulevard, in Glendale, California. Located just a quarter-mile south of its previous West Coast headquarters, NTC‘s new office occupies two full floors at 550 North Brand Boulevard and more than doubles the company‘s floor space to over 32,000 square feet. NTC also maintains a major presence on the East Coast, with a New York office located at 1180 Avenue of the Americas, in midtown Manhattan, as well as a 15,000 sq. ft. Implementation and System Integration facility in Glendale.
“NTC is expanding to increase our capacity to provide new, advanced solutions for the media industry,” notes Managing Partner Chuck Phelan. “Our new office integrates the very latest IT, computer, and communications technologies, all of which are designed to deliver unparalleled service to our clients. As the industry‘s thought leader, NTC provides innovative hardware- and software-based solutions to a wide variety of broadcast, cable, satellite, corporate, and other media enterprises. These solutions include the latest technologies for file-based networking and media-content workflow analysis. Such technologies demand ever-increasing sophistication in such areas as software integration. For this reason, NTC‘s new office includes expanded engineering and lab facilities for its Software Systems Group.”
Headed by John Footen, NTC‘s Software Solutions Group and Software Systems Engineering division applies such proven IT industry technologies as Service-Oriented Architectures, Business Process Management, and web services to media enterprises. These technologies help to reduce risk, increase efficiency and accountability, and provide agility for broadcasters, networks, and other content providers seeking to address new-revenue opportunities in the deployment of next-generation digital content-delivery services.
All divisions of NTC benefit from the many unique infrastructure highlights of 550 North Brand Boulevard, which include redundant diversely routed DS3 data circuits for disaster recovery, and fully redundant power systems with back-up generators for NTC‘s data center. This provides a high level of reliability for NTC's operations nationwide.
“NTC‘s move to its new offices reflects the continued growth and success that has characterized the company throughout its 26-year history,” notes Phelan. “NTC is uniquely positioned to provide unparalleled, mission-critical hardware and software solutions to ensure that every media enterprise achieves its business and technology goals for the Twenty-First Century.”
