Scopus Signs FOR-A for Sales and Distribution of Full Range of Scopus Products to Japanese Market

TEL AVIV, Israel — Nov. 17, 2008 — Scopus Video Networks (NASDAQ: SCOP), a provider of digital video networking solutions, today announced that it has entered into a distribution partnership with leading Japanese video manufacturer and distributor FOR-A. Under the terms of the agreement, FOR-A will provide sales and support for the full line of Scopus products. At Inter BEE 2008 in Tokyo Nov. 19-21, Scopus will demonstrate its solutions in the FOR-A stand, 6408.

A special focus will be placed on Scopus' new Eldorado network management system, its UE-9000 HD/SD multiformat MPEG-2/H.264 encoder platform, and the company's new integrated receiver processor (IRP) platform for HD/SD multiformat dense MPEG-2/H.264 decoding and processing.
