CNBC Asia Chooses Ross Vision for Digital News Studio

Iroquois, ON Canada – February 18, 2009 – CNBC Asia invests in Ross Video's Vision QMD/X Multi-Definition production switcher line with a Vision 4 Control Panel and Vision 3.5 Chassis configuration to enhance their main news production studio in Singapore. CNBC Asia broadcasts Asian focused business news programming globally, 24 hours every business day to over 400 million households. Complete Installation of the Vision QMD-X is scheduled for spring 2009.

Vision QMD/X provides 4 keys per ME and up to 4 MEs, available in both a small and large chassis. The small chassis, QMD, is a compact 3RU, offering four full 4-keyer MEs and 48 Multi-Definition inputs. The large chassis, QMD-X, offers four full 4-keyer MEs, 6 keys downstream, and 96 multi-definition inputs.
