Acterna will introduce multicast analysis support capabilities for its DTS product line to deliver support for providers deploying IP video.
Acterna will unveil a new DTS capability that supports multicast video delivery, enabling operators deploying multicast video services to analyze their digital video services with ease-of-use. Users can now turn their Acterna DTS test instrument into another digital video service receiving device and test the digital video service. This improves operational efficiency and quality of service (QoS) before problems reach the customer.
The company also will add MPEG-4 real-time analysis to the Acterna DTS product line.
Acterna also will show its recently released terrestrial broadcast interfaces for the DTS, making the digital video test instrument a single source to meet the demands of digital video deployment. To increase operational efficiency, the DTS now covers both the COFDM and 8-VSB modulation techniques.
