ADB to feature latest AVC, HD set-top boxes

published Advanced Digital Broadcast (ADB) will feature a number of revenue-enhancing technologies and solutions designed to open new service and revenue opportunities for digital television operators at IBC2007.
ADB will showcase its latest range of IPTV AVC and HD set-top boxes that provide a complete product portfolio for cable, IPTV, satellite and terrestrial operators. The company will also present a number of solutions for push video on demand
(PVoD), multiroom content sharing and Internet TV/OTTTV.
Among the company’s new offerings will be:
- ADB5810TWX, a digital video recorder designed for IPTV operators wishing to offer clients personal video recording. The unit is AVC based and compliant with SD and HD transmissions using MPEG-2 and MPEG-4.
- The ADB3810TW combines IPTV, digital terrestrial television and HDTV in a single unit fitted with the latest single chip microprocessor.
