Advanced Fiber Products (AFP) recently announced the addition of enhanced, active video devices to their product line. The devices are the result of a licensing deal with Emerson and will be marketed at the broadcast video industry, but are also compatible with military and industrial environments.
The latest product line will include miniature video media converters, rack systems, AES audio embedders and de-embedders and video media distribution amplifiers. Additionally, the new Run Gear series of products will extend long distance signals by aggregating SD and HD broadcasts with any number of data formats over two fibers.
AFP’s new line will be manufactured in their Chicago plant.
