AP Television has introduced a collection of turnkey headline news tickers designed to give local TV stations real-time content to display during on-air news programming. AP is offering 10 headline tickers covering several news fields.
Local stations will have access to thousands of AP headlines automatically delivered 24 hours a day. The tickers, available in English and Spanish, are updated as stories break and developments unfold.
The tickers can also be used online and are part of a series of new products developed to help broadcasters extend their on-air station brands beyond daily newscasts. A portfolio of automated online products designed to make broadcaster Web sites more efficient is also available. The products include interactive and multimedia packages and text, graphics and photos.
