DVSDVS-SAN (Storage Area Network)
DVS-SAN consists of fiber channel disk arrays with an optimized RAID controller. DVS-SAN has been developed to cater for the concurrent central storage real-time transfer of film 2K and HD video sequences requiring high data-rate and data-access capabilities. For example, several connected CLIPSTER editing systems or Pronto2K disk recorders can play film 2K video clips concurrently.
A minimum of 2 x 3U storage units is required. This corresponds to between 2.3 and 9.6 terabytes -- more than six hours of 2K material. The capacity can be increased as required by adding storage units.

The award-winning four-input ERG HDM-EV80D 8.4-inch HD monitor is the only HD monitor on the market that is able to flip the image right-side up.
When shooting with the Panavision system through a Canon ACV235 Anamorphic Lens Converter, the image is compressed from an aspect ratio of 2.35:1 to a standard HD aspect ratio of 16.9 (1.78:1). But, since the image is presented upside down, it makes it difficult for directors, camerapersons, and others to view the image. The HDM-EV80D is able to flip the image right-side up with its revolutionary flip-image function and aspect ratio adjustment feature. Thus, the image will be adjusted to the exact aspect ratio of 2.35:1.
