The solid-state 250W, C-band Doppler radar provides low-power radar with pulse compression and is a multi-state amplifier for broadcast. Features include high-definition data, with 256 color levels and 3000 range bins; SmartPower technology, built-in Doppler processing and pulse compression down to the microsecond.
Pulsar offers built-in redundancy through four solid-state amplifiers equipped with Baron SmartPower technology. The four amplifiers are continually pulsing energy, so if one of the units is knocked out of service, the system automatically recalibrates to continue working without any interruption.
