BTX to show solderless termination system at InfoComm
BTX will show its next-generation solderless connectors, the MaxBlox EZ Termination System, at the upcoming InfoComm show in Anaheim, CA. The rugged design allows installers to terminate an HD15 or a DB9 with just a screwdriver, and mount it in a panel, plate or MaxBlox hood in a fraction of the time it would take to solder, saving both time and money.
When used in conjunction with the MaxBlox CD-MX159H hood, MaxBlox connectors simply slide, snap and lock into the hood without the use of tools. Optimized for use in any application where VGA or RS-232 controls are used, the HD15 and DB9 connectors are manufactured by BTX with Phoenix Contact terminal blocks. The system accommodates wire diameters from .12in to .5in, and will be available this summer.
In addition, the company will be displaying the NUVU portable projection screen, a pop-up, crease-resistant design notable for its fast setup and stylish oval shape. BTX is the exclusive U.S. importer and distributor of the NUVU line, which is available in 16:9, 4:3 and tabletop models.
