Casablanca Finish, a premiere Latin American post-production facility in Sao Paulo, Brazil, has acquired a Pablo 2K, Quantel’s new non-linear color correction system.
A complete color grading system, Pablo is built on the foundations of Quantel’s eQ and iQ and includes the company’s full editing, effects, titling, trailers and deliverables capabilities. It is also a complete post and digital intermediate system.
The Pablo system also features TimeMagic, a technology to reduce rendering time, and new V3.6 software including Revolver, a secondary color correction tool. Revolver enables the colorist to work at multiple levels within the picture itself via an intuitive interface.
Casablanca Finish also owns two Quantel eQ editing, effects and color grading systems.
