Christie introduces next-generation control room display products
Christie has introduced a new line of control room monitoring products. The new solutions are designed for 24/7 control room environments, and include a full range, from single-chip to three-chip DLP solutions. All of these digital projection products are based on Christie’s KoRE electronics platform, which brings extensive input capability and feature ChristieNET connectivity software for signal monitoring and control over IP.
Christie’s new TotalVIEW control room solutions include: the latest single-chip XGA and SXGA+ DLP rear projection display engine technology; configurable digital display wall controllers for extreme information display capability; rear-projection displays ranging in screen size from 50in to 100in; and the latest in Christie’s line of rear screen 3-chip DLP tiling projectors that feature native 1920x1080 HD resolution.
The Christie RPMX-D120U (XGA) and RPMSP-D120U (SXGA+) projection modules are designed with a dual UHP lamp switcher system that provides both redundancy and long lamp life. These projection modules include automatic color calibration and brightness control capability, built in edge-blending and factory-calibrated Comprehensive Color Adjustment (CCA) for fast and easy color setup across tiled display walls. The RPMSP-D120U offers a contrast ratio of up to 2300:1 and brightness up to 1000 ANSI lumens. The RPMX-D120U offers up to 1300:1 contrast ratio and up to 870 ANSI lumens brightness.
The new generation of control room products is scheduled to begin shipping in November 2006.
