Chyron showcased the fruits of its agreement with Proximity at IBC2004.
The company plans to tailor Proximity’s Xenostore software for use with Chyron’s Duet CG systems that use Lyric content creation and playout software.
The product, named Lyricstore by Proximity, is available directly from Chyron and Chyron resellers worldwide.
The partnership covers the development of integrated connectivity between Proximity’s Xenostore product and Chyron’s Lyric software to search, transfer, convert and manage lyric graphical assets, as well as integrate Lyric software into graphics operations with legacy equipment from Adobe, Avid, Chyron, Discreet, Grass Valley, Leitch, Omneon, Pinnacle Systems, Quantel, Sundance and others.
In addition, Proximity’s newsroom plug-ins and order management system are integrated with Lyric’s MOS implementation to deliver a seamless system for dragging and dropping Proximity graphical assets into Lyric templates in the newsroom.
