Darim introduces MV410EXP H.264 and Windows Media 9 hardware decoder
At IBC2004, Darim Vision demonstrated its MV410EXP, a combination H.264 and Windows Media 9 hardware decoder.
The decoder is a companion to the MV401EXP encoder. Both are designed to work in H.264 or Windows Media 9 formats for greater flexibility. The decoder accepts either H.264 or Windows Media 9 format compressed video and audio and converts it to either analog or digital output at the user’s discretion in either NTSC or PAL video standards.
Based on embedded system technology, the decoder can take in H.264 or Windows Media 9 video and audio from a source such as a satellite feed and produce fully integrated video and audio. This in turn can be played back with perfect sync regardless of file length. It easily works with video in any resolution including full D1 at 30fps.
