Dialight LED beacon receives certification
Dialight has announced its new LED medium-intensity, red-white flashing beacon for marking broadcast and communication towers is now ETL certified to FAA Advisory Circular 150/5345-43F.
The Dialight dual-mode beacon offers the equivalent of more than 10 years of lamp life, compared with two to three years for xenon technology, and just one year for incandescent units. The result is dramatically reduced maintenance costs.
Its solid-state emitters are also less prone to damage from harmonic tower vibration and thermal stress than the glass gas discharge tubes in xenon units or fragile glass incandescent lamps.
