At NAB2009, Dielectric will unveil the two newest members of its MobileMedia product family: the 1.4GHz Antenna for L-band applications and the 1.8kW Switchback Filter for 700MHz applications.
Dielectric's new 1.4GHz Antenna delivers a new variation of the company's pylon-style broadcast antennas. Dielectric's L-band, high-power, circularly polarized, broadband antenna features both azimuth and elevation pattern versatility in a single low-wind-load mechanical package. The antenna can be either side- or top-mounted to provide an excellent axial ratio, a 1kW-4kW input power rating, gains of 15dBi-19 dBi, a VSWR of less than 1.1:1 and 10kW-24kW ERP/polarization.
The Dielectric 1.8kW Switchback Filter is designed specifically for 700MHz applications. With a compact rack-mountable package, the filter delivers high electrical performance with less than 1.1dB integrated insertion loss. State-of-the-art material selection provides temperature compensation within +/-10kHz and an overall temperature range of 0-45 degrees Centigrade. The filter supports a 2000W power capability and provides a VSWR of less than 1.25:1.
