Dielectric to introduce Low RFR Pylon antenna line
At NAB2007, Dielectric will unveil several new products, including its Low RFR Pylon antenna line available with horizontal, elliptical or circular polarization.
This system is designed specifically for applications where downward radiation is a concern, such as with antennas mounted on building tops or short towers in residential areas. The new design achieves a 300 percent reduction in power density near the antenna.
The company will also introduce a new high-power, circularly polarized UHF antenna, the Broadband CP Panel antenna. The antenna, which has up to a 16kW average input power rating and covers the entire lower 700MHz band, uses multilayer parasitic patch technology (MPPT) that allows it to transmit a high-power circularly polarized signal, traditionally available only from a narrow band array. The antenna additionally features a low windload and VSWR of less than 1.1:1.
