Digital TV Labs launched the Evora iSuite Operator edition based on its DVB receiver test framework at IBC2009. The product is designed for operators wishing to launch a conformance regime.
Evora iSuite Operator edition already has been used in compliance and test processes initiated by SABC and Lattelecom.
The Operator edition uses the same fundamental structure as the Developer edition of the product but features a new user interface and various other features to aid in the conformance process.
This new version enables operators to ensure manufacturer compliance and to prevent non-compliant receivers from entering the market without having to tie up huge internal operator resources to do so. It also allows manufacturers wishing to conform to a specific operator’s published receiver specifications to do so quickly and cost-effectively.
