Edifis introduces f/stop film-grading system
All f/stop processing is done in real-time so rendering is never required.
At IBC2005, Edifis unveiled f/stop, a new film-grading system designed to meet the need for color correction of full-aperture 2K RGB footage generated from electronic acquisition.
The new product brings the real-time capabilities of the Finaliser video grading system to the world of 2K.
Edifis’ f/stop is a data-centric color correction and formatting system that accepts and delivers material as data files (DPX, TGA etc.) All processing is done in real-time. Rendering is never required. All work is done using full resolution images, without the use of proxies.
