EditShare is launching its integrated system, EditShare Newsroom, designed to allow fifteen or more editors to collaboratively edit content using shared media from their workstations. Systems are tailored to the needs of the newsroom that purchase them.
EditShare Newsroom supports 7.2 TB RAID 5 that holds more than 470 hours of DV or HDV, nine Win XP workstations with P4-3 Ghz processor, 1 GB RAM, and Nvidia GL graphics cards, nine seats of Avid Xpress DV 4.6, one seat of Avid Xpress Pro HD and more. Additional workstations, software upgrades and processors are also optionally available.
EditShare Newsroom was created by incorporating feedback from television and broadcast customers, according to Andy Liebman, president of EditShare.
