EditShare has qualified ON-AIR Systems for playout integration with the EditShare Storage and XStream Series. The integration with ON-AIR Systems automates file migration from EditShare production storage to the ON-AIR playout video server. The seamless automation is triggered from the ON-AIR playout controls and provides a faster "to air" workflow for broadcasters.
After files are made available for playout, ON-AIR software will automatically copy and delete them when they are required on the playout systems. Live feeds and tape-based events can also be scheduled and controlled if required, making the playKast system a fully functional master control system that can replace mixers, switchers, CG, logo generators, WSS, DVE and other broadcast equipment.
