Editware Is on the Fastrack
Editware is showcasing its Fastrack hybrid editing system at the NAB Show. It’s also showing its LE-2000 Editor and MediaDB.
The Fastrack is a timeline-based controller/hybrid editing system with control of up to 16 devices via RS-422 and up to 80 devices/channels via network. It is a linear/nonlinear editor designed to interface with and control disk based video servers, with the additional benefit of being able to control VTRs, mixers, switchers, character generators and other peripheral devices.
The LE-2000 Editor is a linear-style editor with video server control capabilities. It has a dedicated control panel with Jog Knob and Sony BVE2000-style layout. The LE-2000 is available in 4-VTR plus mixer and switcher configuration, an 8-port model, and the top-of-the line 16-port, 10-VTR version with upgrade paths available for all versions.
Editware’s MediaDB is an SQL-based media asset management system, which supports all major SQL implementations. It’s installed as both client-server and Web-based solution. Modules include Library, Log, Transcript, proxy-media, NLE media tracking and Production Rundown creation.
