Video equipment manufacturer ERG Ventures has launched a portable HD monitor for Sony HDV camcorders.
Tokyo-based ERG designed its HDM-EV85 for the Sony HVR-Z1U and HDR-FX1 models. The 8.4-inch monitor connects directly to the Sony HDV camcorder and accepts 1080i, 1080psf and 720p. Features include enhanced color, frame markers a memory preset function. The LCD screen has a resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels.
ERG Ventures will demo the portable monitor at NAB, mid-April.
