Fast Forward Video releases Recon DV
Fast Forward Video has unveiled its new Recon DVR with optional USB, CF, SMPTE time code and serial digital interface (SDI) features.
The Recon DVR is a compact board-level digital video recorder that measures 2.8in by 3.9in.
The Recon occupies the same footprint as a laptop hard drive and can record up to 40 hours of video. In addition to its ability to record video as QuickTime files for easy viewing and editing, the Recon now includes the option of a USB 2.0 port to download data directly. It also has a CompactFlash slot to record to CF cards.
With Recon’s SDI I/O option (SMPTE 259M standard), users can record, transfer and play back broadcast-quality video in a purely digital environment.
The Recon is optimized for video recording and playback for embedded system, OEM, compact and remote/portable applications.
