Fast Forward Video to unveil next iteration of flagship video recorder
Fast Forward Video (FFV) will display the latest version of its Omega system, the company’s flagship high-end digital video recorder, at IBC2007 next month. The Omega HD records SD and HD video with high-quality JPEG2000 compression at up to 100Mb/s. The recorder allows users to store multiple SD and HD video files and create video clips, loops and playlists from the front panel for many applications, including graphics and key fill, spot insertion and sports/instant replay.
The Omega HD uses standard SATA drives and accepts FFV's Xi and NDT 200 recordings. It offers accurate frame control via RS-422 or GigE using standard control protocols.
