Workflow automation provider Telestream has expanded Flip4Mac MXF ingest for Apple's Final Cut Pro users.
In version 1.0.2, Final Cut Pro HD users can edit content using the same file-based workflow that Sony XDCAM users currently enjoy. Flip4Mac MXF is a QuickTime component that provides digital ingest for MXF content from Sony XDCAM production systems into the Final Cut Pro HD for DV editing and into Final Cut Pro 5 for DV and native IMX MPEG editing.
