Focus Enhancements will announce several new capabilities and features for its ProxSys PX media asset management product line at NAB2008.

Among the new features and capabilities are:

  • the PX Media Transfer Utility supports hierarchical file-based import and export capabilities with multiplatform support and multiple file format options
  • Apple Final Cut Pro XML interchange format support via the Focus Enhancements Universal Metadata Engine
  • the PX Automated Ingest Station
  • new PX Media Server software v5.1 with media search engine improvements
