Great American Country network sounds good with new SSL console
Great American Country (GAC), a Nashville-based country music television network, has acquired a Solid State Logic C132 HD digital broadcast console for its new production studio.
The digital audio console will be used to produce such popular shows as “GAC Top 20 Country Countdown,” “GAC Nights” and “On the Streets.” The studio will be complete in the fourth quarter of 2007.
Next year, GAC plans to produce an increased amount of live performances, and the new C132, with its high-quality sound multitracking capabilities, is ideally suited to accommodate a variety of applications and mixing situations.
The company’s C100 series console is used at other Scripps Networks-owned properties as well, including Food Network and several broadcast stations, which are all having good results with it.
