Harris introduces NetPlus 300 HD receiver/decoder
Harris has introduced the NetPlus 300 HD-IRD high-definition, professional integrated satellite receiver/decoder.
This new receiver/decoder provides broadcasters and content distributors with the professional contribution video, audio and data features required for HD distribution systems in an integrated 1RU package.
The Harris NetPlus 300 HD-IRD features a DVB-S2-capable L-band tuner/demodulator with four inputs, as well as bit stream input and output via DVB-ASI as a standard feature. Each NetPlus 300 unit offers SNMP-based management, HTTP/HTML control and front-panel control.
The unit decodes a wide range of worldwide video formats, including 1080i and 720p at 50Hz and 59.94Hz, in both the main profile (4:2:0) and 422 profile (4:2:2) formats. Additionally, it includes features for DVB-descrambling, ancillary (VANC) data transport and integrated Dolby E decoding capability, including genlock to local reference specifically engineered to support synchronization of Dolby E.
